The Castle Riding Hall is located in the area of Český Krumlov Castle near the Baroque garden. It was built between 1744 and 1746 in the Viennese Rococo style during the reign of Prince Josef Adam of Schwarzenberg, who changed the appearance of Český Krumlov according to the style of the Viennese imperial court. The Viennese architect Andreas Altomonte carried out the project. The stucco decoration is the work of the sculptor Jan Antonín Zinner. At present, the Castle Riding Hall is used as a multifunctional space in which various social events are held. The Castle Riding Hall building includes: a hall, a foyer with a bar, a respirium (relaxation room), changing rooms for the public and performers, catering facilities, and a spacious car park.
