How soft are we today?
A half-day program for corporate teambuilding or a group of people.
These days gadgets make our lives easier. We mainly use our brains in physically undemanding positions. But 60 years ago things were very different. Do you want to discover how different things were with your own hands?
The program is set at the time of the construction of the Orlík dam. You will return to the end of the 1950s, when everyone had a duty to work. This work was often manual and, from today’s perspective, tough and difficult.
- Meeting point in front of the Orlík power plant
- Excursion to the dam and Orlík power plant + introduction to the reality of the 1950s, when construction activity in Czechoslovakia was running on a large scale. Human life merely equalled a unit of work, and performance was as important a parameter as the political background of a person.
- After the excursion, the group can be divided into women’s and men’s parts. They can then perform individual tasks, which include:
- Manual making of the concrete facade
- Working with a concrete mixer, pickaxe
- Manual washing of clothes for a family of four
- Use of period working tools
- Evaluation of tasks, awarding of prizes.
- Provision of lunch on a boat (restaurant boat) or in adjacent hotels.
- Additional services as required.
Other activities along the Vltava can be tailored to your individual needs. The price depends on the number of people and the result of a personal / phone consultation.
