Cruise down stream of the gold-bearing Otava River by boat
Strakonice – Čejetice (approximately 14 km = 4 hours)
One-day canoeing or rafting from Strakonice to Čejetice down the Otava River. In the past this river was an important transport artery, a source of energy for mills and livelihoods for locals. The river also became famous as a gold-bearing river, and it is currently sought-after not only by canoeists and rafters, nature lovers and fishermen, but tourists from home and abroad.
The cruise can be combined with refreshment stops at many boating camps along the route. Groups can be accompanied by an instructor.
